The project will help FLC students develop technical geospatial analysis skills and learn contemporary applications of geospatial imaging, and the images will be used for spatial analysis; evaluating landscape changes, hazard analyses, and investigating rural and urban development.

The plan is to join this MOOC and associated network as a cohort.  The syllabus is here.
The initial task is to create a blog (for recording observations and posting responses to the various prompts and activities).  You can use http://blogger.com or http://wordpress.com or http://tumblr.com or http://posterous.com.  Then register that blog at pedagogyfirst.org and tag all related posts #potcert11
